New Background, New Title, New Direction!

Hello everyone,

As you may have noticed, my blog has undergone some changes. As of yesterday (Monday), I am finished with my Master’s Degree. In less than two weeks I will be moving back to New Orleans to pursue a career in Hollywood South. I’ll be so busy chasing my dreams and becoming a fully fledged adult that I will not able to travel as I have in the past. With that in mind, it felt odd to me that I should have a traveler’s blog even though I’m not going to be traveling anymore. A person’s blog should reflect who they are and should evolve as they do. Therefore, the TARDIS named Desire must regenerate. This post is the debut post of my newly generated blog which now focuses on filmmaking, New Orleans, and my various other passions including creative works such as fan art and poetry. Thank you to everyone who has followed me throughout my travels the past couple years. I hope you all with continue to follow me through my adventures in New Orleans. Speaking of new regenerations, this Saturday Doctor Who returns with Peter Capaldi’s first episode as the Doctor!! I’m very excited to get to know this new Doctor. What about you? Let me know your thoughts on the new Doctor!

Until next time,

No, but what gets me in this movie

is that every woman is beautiful to Giselle.

Women who wear suits and aren’t cute and petite. Women with wide hips and large rear ends and small breasts. Women who are black and white and every other ethnicity she came across, I’m sure. Women with straight hair and natural hair and grey hair. Older women and middle-aged women and young women.

Everyone is beautiful to Giselle. There’s no reason anyone wouldn’t be beautiful. There’s no reason beauty should ever be just one thing, that being a princess should ever be just one thing.

Everyone is a princess to Giselle, and if one of the princesses politely corrected her and said they were a prince she’d probably nod earnestly and talk about how dashing and handsome they looked too.
